Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane is inactive for the first-ever Black Friday game against the New York Jets due to a knee injury, the team announced.
Achane returned from injured reserve in Week 11 but re-aggravated his injury after only two touches and was listed as questionable for the AFC East matchup.
The rookie had been out since Week 5 following an electric start to his NFL career that included 455 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns.
The 7-3 Dolphins will continue to rely on a backfield of Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson, and Darrynton Evans as they look to extend their lead atop the division.
