Seahawks' Metcalf misses 1st game of career vs. Cardinals
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is inactive against the Arizona Cardinals due to ribs and hip injuries, the team announced Sunday.
This is the first time in Metcalf's career that he's been unable to play in a game. He suited up in all 71 previous possible contests since entering the league in 2019.
Metcalf did not practice Wednesday and Thursday before being limited in the team's final practice of the week on Friday. He was listed as questionable for the last two games due to the rib injury.
There was more concern about his Week 7 availability than in the previous two contests, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Rookie running back Zach Charbonnet is also inactive due to a hamstring injury after being listed as questionable. DeeJay Dallas is expected to fill his role as Kenneth Walker III's backup.
