Report: Packers set to be without Jones, Watson vs. Falcons
The Green Bay Packers are set to be without two of their top offensive weapons in Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson are both expected to miss the Week 2 matchup due to hamstring injuries, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Jones suffered the injury in the team's Week 1 win over the Chicago Bears. He ended the week as questionable but failed to practice in all three sessions.
Meanwhile, Watson's absence will mark his second straight game missed. The former second-round pick led the Packers in touchdown receptions last season with seven.
AJ Dillon is expected to receive a larger workload out of the backfield with Jones sidelined.
Green Bay is off to a 1-0 start with Jordan Love firmly established as the starting quarterback.
