Jets add ex-Packers safety Amos
The New York Jets are signing former Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.

Amos, a Baltimore native with 10 career INTs, made 122 starts in eight seasons for the #Bears and #Packers.
The Jets announced Amos' signing Tuesday, though the team didn't release the terms of the agreement.
Amos was a key member of Green Bay's defense over the past four seasons. He was voted a team captain in each of the last two years and started every game for the Packers after signing with them in 2019.
The 30-year-old recorded seven interceptions and 362 tackles over 66 starts with Green Bay. He set new career highs with 102 tackles and seven tackles for loss in 2022.
Amos began his career with the Chicago Bears, notching three interceptions and three forced fumbles from 2015-18.
Amos' signing comes after projected starter Chuck Clark suffered a potentially "significant knee injury" that could sideline him for an extended period, per Schultz. Clark is set to get a second opinion after the Jets fear he may have sustained an ACL injury, Schultz reports.
In New York, the Penn State product will join a talented Jets secondary that features cornerback Sauce Gardner, the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year. The team's safety depth chart is headlined by Clark and Jordan Whitehead.
