Former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury is meeting with the Houston Texans regarding their offensive coordinator position, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.
Sources: Kliff Kingsbury is in Houston today meeting with the #Texans for their open OC position. Kingsbury has a good relationship with DeMeco Ryans, as well as Nick Caserio, whom he knows dating back to their time together with the #Patriots. @thescore

It was previously reported that Kingsbury was not interested in coaching in 2023.
The Cardinals fired Kingsbury earlier this offseason after a disappointing 4-13 campaign. Arizona hired him in 2019 to pair alongside star quarterback Kyler Murray. Kingsbury was regarded as a sharp offensive mind following his time coaching Texas Tech.
However, the Kingsbury-Murray partnership struggled to find consistent success. The Cardinals finished 28-37-1 through four seasons under Kingsbury, making the playoffs only once. The offense failed to crack the top 10 in scoring during his tenure.
The Texans hold the No. 2 and No. 12 picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, potentially putting them in a position to select a top quarterback prospect.
