The battle of the Kelce brothers is one of the Super Bowl's most intriguing subplots.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce said Monday that he'll always cheer for his younger sibling, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, to succeed but knows the winner will earn the "ultimate bragging rights."

"I won't rub it in right away if we win, I'll say that," Jason said during Super Bowl opening night. "We both realize that for somebody, it's not going to go well. I know it sounds crazy, but I think we're both still rooting for each other. I feel you can't help but do that.

"I might not be rooting for the Chiefs, but I'm always rooting for Trav."

The Kelce brothers already boast one Super Bowl title each. Jason won his championship with the Eagles during the 2017 season, and Travis hoisted the Lombardi Trophy two years later with the Chiefs.

While Travis acknowledged how remarkable it'll be to become the first brothers to play against each other in the Super Bowl, he said he wants to win for his team and not for himself.

"It's a special moment. It's something, obviously, we'll remember for the rest of our lives," Travis said. "But I'm focused on making it a Chiefs win, and not necessarily a win for the Kelce on this side."

With the sibling rivalry a major storyline ahead of Super Bowl LVII, Jason and Travis' mom, Donna, was on hand with cookies to smooth things over. An online petition for Donna to perform the coin toss Sunday had over 160,000 signatures as of Monday evening.

Jason and Travis were named first-team All-Pros after standout regular-season performances, their fifth and fourth career nominations, respectively. Travis also became the second-most productive postseason receiver in NFL history during the AFC title win and trails only Hall of Famer Jerry Rice in catches, yards, and touchdowns.
