Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is expected to miss time after fracturing a bone in his hand during Thursday's 21-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Pete Carroll announced postgame.
Lockett is undergoing surgery to repair and stabilize the finger, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Friday. Lockett reportedly could miss just one game, but a firm timetable should be available post-surgery.
The 30-year-old entered Week 15 with a team-high 896 yards and eight touchdown catches on 71 receptions this season. He caught seven passes for 68 yards against the 49ers.
Seattle dropped to 7-7 with Thursday's loss.
