New York Jets coach Robert Saleh didn't hold back when asked about his offense's second-half performance in Sunday's 10-3 loss to the New England Patriots.

"It was dogshit," Saleh told reporters postgame.

The Jets' only points against New England came off a second-quarter field goal. Following halftime, New York failed to record more than 10 yards on six of its seven drives. Five of those possessions resulted in a three-and-out.

Quarterback Zach Wilson struggled to get anything going, completing nine of his 22 passes for just 77 yards. However, Saleh deflected criticism away from his quarterback when asked if Wilson was holding back the offense.

"I don't know, we couldn't run the ball, either. So, there's a lot of things we need to look at to see if we can find efficiency in the offense," Saleh said. "It's not about pointing fingers at any one individual or one unit or one anything. It's just finding the answers so we can start moving the ball."

Wilson added postgame that he didn't feel he let his defense down.

The Jets held the Patriots to just three points before New York's special teams surrendered a game-winning 84-yard punt return touchdown in the final 10 seconds.

New York and New England both moved to 6-4 following Sunday's result.
