Rams expect Stafford to play in Week 11 vs. Saints
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to clear concussion protocol before Sunday's matchup against the New Orleans Saints, head coach Sean McVay said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop.
Stafford missed the team's Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals due to being in concussion protocol. He was a full participant in Wednesday's session, McVay added.
John Wolford started in Stafford's place last Sunday, completing 66.7% of his passes for 212 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Stafford put up pedestrian numbers amid a disappointing 2022 campaign for the Rams. The veteran threw eight touchdowns to eight interceptions, and his 84.9 passer rating is his lowest since 2013.
Los Angeles sits in last place in the NFC West with a record of 3-6. The franchise is aiming to end a three-game skid.
