Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson was carted off Sunday against the New York Jets after tearing his Achilles, head coach Darrell Bevell said, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.

The 23-year-old sustained the non-contact injury in the first quarter of the game after carrying the ball three times for 10 yards.

Robinson entered Week 16 with 757 rushing yards (4.7 per carry) and eight touchdowns through 13 appearances this season.

He broke the record for the most scrimmage yards (1,414) for an undrafted rookie last year.
