The Green Bay Packers' win over the Chicago Bears came at a cost, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed he aggravated his fractured pinky toe.
"It feels worse," Rodgers said, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. "I don't know what kind of setback that I had tonight but we'll look at it tomorrow. Definitely took a step back tonight."
Rodgers suffered the injury while working out away from the team after testing positive for COVID-19 in November. He opted to rest during Green Bay's bye last week instead of undergoing surgery.
The injury reportedly could hinder the quarterback for the rest of the season without surgery. Rodgers was told a procedure wouldn't require him to miss time.
Rodgers will undergo tests Monday but remains adamant he'd rather not go under the knife.
"That would be last resort, for sure," Rodgers said. "But I've got to see what kind of setback it was."
Rodgers continued to state his case for back-to-back MVP awards with a four-touchdown, 341-yard performance against his team's division rival.
