Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher Joey Bosa was cleared of a concussion after he exited Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals with a head injury, head coach Brandon Staley said, according to The Athletic's Daniel Popper.

Staley added that Bosa was removed from the game out of precaution due to his previous history with concussions.

"As long as I'm the head coach here, I'm going to be making decisions like that in the best interest of our players," Staley said, per Popper.

The three-time Pro Bowler recorded only one tackle in the game.

Bosa entered Week 13 leading Los Angeles with 7.5 sacks in 2021. He's the only Charger with more than three sacks.

The 26-year-old also led the team with four forced fumbles through the first 12 weeks of the season.
