Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be activated to the team's 53-man roster after passing the NFL's COVID-19 protocols, the club's director of communications Burt Lauten announced Saturday.
Roethlisberger is expected to start Sunday night for a road game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He'll fly separately from the team's charter plane Saturday afternoon.
Mason Rudolph started in Big Ben's place in Week 10, leading the Steelers to a 16-16 draw against the winless Detroit Lions.
Roethlisberger has completed 65.6% of his passes for 1,986 yards with 10 touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 90.0 passer rating over eight games this season.
