The Week 9 meeting between two Josh Allens lived up to the hype.

For the first time ever, an NFL quarterback was sacked by someone with the same name when Jacksonville Jaguars edge rusher Josh Allen took down Buffalo Bills signal-caller Josh Allen in the second quarter of Sunday's game.

The Jaguars' Allen then provided another exciting moment when he recorded his first career interception off the Bills' Allen late in the third quarter.

Still not finished dominating the battle of Josh Allens, the Jaguars' emerging star defender recovered a late fumble by his namesake.

The two players were both picked seventh overall in the NFL draft, with Buffalo drafting its franchise quarterback in 2018 out of Wyoming and Jacksonville selecting its pass-rusher out of Kentucky a year later.
