Julio Jones out vs. Colts with hamstring injury
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones will miss Sunday's divisional clash with the Indianapolis Colts due to a hamstring injury, the team announced Friday.
Jones missed Week 4 and Week 5 with hamstring issues.
He returned for the win over the Buffalo Bills but left the game in the fourth quarter after aggravating the injury. While the veteran played the following week against the Kansas City Chiefs, he was only on the field for 43% of the snaps.
Jones missed seven games in his final season with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020 due to a persistent hamstring injury.
The 32-year-old has 307 yards and no touchdown catches in five games this campaign.
A.J. Brown will lead the passing attack as the 5-2 Titans look to extend their lead in the AFC South over the 3-4 Colts. Chester Rogers and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are set for expanded roles.
