Former Houston Texans defensive end Whitney Mercilus is joining the Green Bay Packers, the team confirmed.
The Texans released the 31-year old Tuesday. He was in his 10th season with the franchise.
Mercilus recorded 12 tackles and three sacks over six games with Houston this season.
