Report: Eagles TEs receiving trade interest
The Philadelphia Eagles have received trade inquires about their tight ends, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.
The Eagles employ a pair of capable veterans in Dallas Goedert and Zach Ertz. Tyree Jackson, Jason Croom, and rookie Jack Stoll are also on the team as depth.
Ertz, a three-time Pro Bowler, has been hoping for an extension from the Eagles after nearly nine seasons with the franchise. General manager Howie Roseman has been reluctant to make a trade without getting the proper value for Ertz.
The 30-year-old has spent his entire career with the Eagles, racking up 575 receptions, 6,238 yards, and 37 touchdowns.
Goedert, the Eagles' second-round pick in 2018, has risen up the depth chart since joining the franchise. The 26-year-old has hauled in 15 receptions for 216 yards and two touchdowns over fives contests this campaign.
The 2021 trade deadline is Nov. 2.
