Bengals' Mixon day-to-day with ankle sprain

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has been diagnosed with a low-grade ankle sprain that will be looked at on a day-to-day basis, head coach Zac Taylor said Monday, according to ESPN's Ben Baby.
Reports initially indicated Mixon was week-to-week with the injury, but Bengals head coach Zac Taylor clarified Monday the ailment is not severe.
Mixon spent the final few offensive plays of the Bengals' 24-21 win over the Jaguars on the sidelines after rushing 16 times for 67 yards and a touchdown.
The 25-year-old has rushed for 353 yards and two touchdowns on 83 carries in four games for Cincinnati this season. Mixon leads the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.
