Bolt: Tyreek Hill 'probably scared' to wager Super Bowl ring on race

Usain Bolt is willing to put one of his Olympic gold medals on the line in a potential race against Tyreek Hill but doesn't think the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver is keen on wagering his Super Bowl LIV ring.

When asked in an interview with TMZ Sports if Hill had agreed to the wager, Bolt indicated it's unlikely to happen.

"Nah, I don't think he will," Bolt said. "He's got one, so he's probably scared."

Hill challenged Bolt to a 40-yard race in July, calling the 35-year-old sprinting legend "old" and "washed up." While Bolt is confident he could outrun Hill, he did admit he'd have to get in better shape first.

"I definitely gotta train, he's been working out," Bolt said. "I work out too, but I would have to step up my training. It would all depend on my schedule, you know what I mean? ... Remember, I (have been) retired for a while, so I still gotta get my legs going again, know what I mean? I still got speed, but I gotta get it going."

Bolt is an eight-time Olympic gold medalist who holds world records in both the men's 100m (9.58 seconds) and 200m dash (19.19).

Hill ran a 4.29-second 40-yard dash at his pro day leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft. In high school, he posted official times of 10.19 seconds in the 100m and 20.14 seconds in the 200m dash.
