The Jacksonville Jaguars are not expected to reach a long-term contract extension with offensive tackle Cam Robinson, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Robinson will play on a one-year, $13.7-million franchise tag in 2021.

It's unlikely an agreement will be reached ahead of the July 15th deadline for franchise-tagged players.

The 25-year-old has started 47 contests over the span of four seasons in Jacksonville. Robinson will be tasked with protecting rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence this fall.

Robinson joins a growling list of players that includes Washington Football Team's Brandon Scherff, the New York Jets' Marcus Maye, and the Chicago Bears' Allen Robinson who are set to become free agents in 2022.
