The criminal investigation into allegations against Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller will not result in any charges against him, the Parker Police Department said in a statement, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Miller was under criminal investigation in Colorado since mid-January, but police did not unveil the nature of the allegations.

A person familiar with the situation previously said the investigation was related to interactions between Miller and his former girlfriend, Megan Denise, according to the Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala.

Denise shared an ultrasound image and text messages she claimed were from Miller, saying: "I'm honestly praying for a miscarriage," and, "I hate you! … You gon get yours! Believe that."

Miller's ex-girlfriend followed up the texts with a separate post on Instagram: "My heart goes out to any woman/or man who is or has ever dealt with mental, physical, or verbal abuse. Praying death on me and mine was enough!!"

Denise later released a statement, saying, "At no point in our relationship was there any type of physical abuse or violence by Von, whatsoever."

Broncos general manager George Paton said Thursday he wants Miller back with the team in 2021.

The 31-year-old didn't play in 2020 after suffering a dislodged ankle tendon in training camp.
