Deshaun Watson apparently knows where he wants to land if the Houston Texans move him this offseason.

The star quarterback recently told people the New York Jets are his top trade destination, Armando Salguero of Miami Herald reports.

Watson's preference for the Jets is related to their new head coach, Robert Saleh, adds Salguero. The signal-caller previously wanted the Texans to interview Saleh for their vacant head coaching job.

The three-time Pro Bowler recently liked an Instagram post suggesting New York should trade for him.

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly Watson's second choice if a trade does take place.

Watson has expressed frustration with Houston over being left out of the franchise's general manager search.

Additionally, the 25-year-old's requests to the Texans to interview Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for the head coaching position went ignored until recently.

People within the Texans organization have reportedly speculated that Watson has played his final snap with the club, which has not yet named its next sideline boss.

Saleh said it's currently "premature" to discuss the Jets' future at quarterback during his introductory press conference Thursday. Sam Darnold has tossed 45 touchdowns against 39 interceptions over 38 career starts since entering the NFL in 2018.

Watson - who has a no-trade clause in his recently signed $156-million extension - set career highs with 4,823 passing yards and 33 touchdowns this season.
