Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will make his return Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, head coach Jesse Minter announced Friday, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
Jackson has missed the last three games due to a high ankle sprain. He was a full participant in practice throughout this week, paving the way for his return.
The Ravens went 1-2 without Jackson, winning the first game before dropping the next two. Tyler Huntley started in his place and threw four touchdowns to one interception. However, the Ravens' offense has struggled to generate points in recent weeks, as Baltimore has been held to 13 points or fewer in its last two games.
A two-time league MVP, Jackson was off to a hot start before getting injured in a Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans. He's completed 70.8% of his passes this season, which would stand as a career high, and thrown six touchdowns to only one interception. His 10.1 yards per attempt also leads all qualified passers.
The Ravens enter Week 8 with a 4-3 record. They're in last place in an uber-competitive AFC North that features four teams over .500. The Cleveland Browns lead the division at 5-2 thanks to a tiebreaker over the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cincinnati Bengals sit in third at 4-2.
