Browns' Mayfield: 'I don't give a damn' what critics say after loss vs. Steelers

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield received an ample amount of criticism following Sunday's 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the quarterback isn't paying any attention to it.

"I don't give a damn what they say," Mayfield said, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter. "We know we can be better, I know I can be better, that's how it's going to be handled. The outside noise doesn't matter. They get paid to talk, we get paid to do our work."

Mayfield completed just 55.6% of his passes Sunday and finished with a season-low 54.9 passer rating. The quarterback also tossed two interceptions, giving him four over the last two weeks.

"4-2 has never felt so much like 0-6 before," Mayfield said Wednesday, per NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano, but noted that Cleveland is eager to respond.

"It's the next game mentality," Mayfield said. "We're all in it together right now. There's no the world is crashing right now mentality."

The Browns will have a chance to rebound this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
