Jaguars receive no new positive tests ahead of game vs. Lions
The Jacksonville Jaguars returned zero new positive tests, making all members of the active roster eligible to play against the Detroit Lions, the team announced Sunday.
The news comes a day after Jacksonville placed 12 of its 16 practice-squad players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, though only one is confirmed to have tested positive.
Practice-squad players were instructed to sit in separate areas during meetings, so no active-roster players have been exposed to the virus, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Jacksonville isn't the only team affected by COVID-19 issues this week, as the Patriots and Falcons also needed to briefly close their facilities due to positive tests. Atlanta reopened its building Friday, while New England returned to its facility Saturday morning.
The Jaguars are tied for last in the AFC South with a 1-4 record.
