The Tennessee Titans returned all negatives from Thursday's round of COVID-19 testing after two straight days with at least one new positive, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Tennessee's Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills was moved from Sunday to Tuesday amid the former's recent outbreak, and the matchup remains on track to be played following Friday's results. The Titans can return to practice Saturday if no more players test positive, Pelissero adds.
The New England Patriots also returned zero positive tests from Thursday's round but will continue to work virtually on Friday as a precaution, according to Pelissero.
New England's Week 5 tilt with the Denver Broncos was also moved after three players, including Cam Newton and Stephon Gilmore, tested positive for COVID-19. The two teams will meet Monday at 5 p.m. ET instead of Sunday afternoon.
The Titans' outbreak last week forced the club's facility to be closed and the NFL to postpone Tennessee's Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The league and players' union are reportedly investigating multiple unauthorized workouts involving Titans players, who currently aren't allowed to enter the team's facility under the league's COVID-19 protocols.
The Kansas City Chiefs, who played New England on Monday, returned all negative tests on Friday, a source told Pelissero. The defending Super Bowl champions' Week 6 game against the Bills will reportedly be moved from next Thursday to Sunday.
