Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders said Friday he will play Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams after missing the season opener due to a hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"I'm 100% ready to go," Sanders said, per Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.
Sanders has been a full participant in practice since Wednesday.
The 23-year-old took over the Eagles' backfield as a second-round rookie in 2019 and led the team with 179 rushing attempts and 818 yards. The former Penn State standout also scored six total touchdowns and hauled in 50 catches for 509 yards.
Philadelphia recorded just 57 rushing yards on 17 attempts without Sanders during the team's 27-17 loss to the Washington Football Team in Week 1.
The Eagles are also expecting to have more players back against the Rams, including offensive tackle Lane Johnson (ankle) and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (pectoral/hamstring).
After missing the season opener, both Johnson and Hargrave didn't have a status designation on the team's latest injury report following a full practice Friday.
