Vikings place rookie Jefferson, 3 others on reserve/COVID-19 list

Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson was among four players the team placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

Offensive tackle Blake Brandel, safety Brian Cole II, and offensive lineman Tyler Higby joined Jefferson on the list.

Selected No. 22 overall by Minnesota in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jefferson is widely expected to start alongside Adam Thielen this season following the trade of star wideout Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills.

Jefferson, 21, racked up 111 catches for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final season at LSU.
