Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was informed of his release Tuesday after four seasons with the NFC East club, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Bradham won't be free to sign with another team until free agency opens March 18 as Philadelphia declined his option for 2020, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

When Bradham is off the books, the Eagles will save $4.47 million toward the cap, per Spotrac.

The veteran joined Philadelphia during free agency in 2016 after starting his career with the Buffalo Bills, who took him in the fourth round of the 2012 draft.

Bradham inked a five-year, $40-million extension after helping lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl in 2018.

The 30-year-old led Philadelphia in total tackles in three of his four years with the team.
