Brady 'open-minded' about free agency

Tom Brady is less than two months away from potentially hitting the open market for the first time in his career, and the New England Patriots quarterback is keeping all options on the table when it comes to his playing future.

"I'm open-minded about the process," Brady said Sunday on Westwood One radio when asked about the possibility of suiting up for a new team. "At the same time, I love playing football and I want to continue to play and do a great job. I'm looking forward to what's ahead. Whatever the future may bring, I'll embrace it with open arms."

After years of taking team-friendly deals with the Patriots, Brady reportedly won't consider agreeing to another hometown discount.

New England can't use the franchise tag on the veteran signal-caller because of a clause in his extension signed in August, so Brady will be free to talk to other teams when the free-agency negotiations window opens March 11.

The six-time Super Bowl winner attended UFC 246 in Las Vegas on Saturday. He was spotted speaking to Raiders owner Mark Davis, which sent rumors swirling on social media.

The Patriots failed to make the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 2010, suffering an upset loss to the Tennessee Titans in the wild-card round.

Despite the fact he will turn 43 years old before the start of the 2020 season, Brady appears to have no desire to retire.

After the loss to the Titans, Brady wrote "I know I still have more to prove" on Instagram.
