Wentz has small hand bruise, likely fine for Week 13
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz suffered a small bruise on his hand near his middle finger, head coach Doug Pederson told reporters Monday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Pederson added that Wentz is considered day-to-day but should be fine to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
The fourth-year passer briefly left Philadelphia's Week 12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks due to the injury, though he returned in time for the Eagles' next offensive possession. X-rays came back negative following the game.
Wentz struggled against Seattle, throwing a pair of interceptions and losing two fumbles.
The 26-year-old has battled injuries every year of his career thus far. He finished each of the last two seasons on injured reserve.
