Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson lobbied for the Pittsburgh Steelers to give Mason Rudolph, who was benched in Week 12, another start in their Week 13 rematch while taking a shot at the struggling quarterback.

"I don't really care, bro," Richardson told reporters Sunday when alerted of Rudolph's removal against the winless Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL Network's Kimberley Jones. "I hope he plays."

When asked why, Richardson responded, "Did you see him last game?"

In the Browns-Steelers Week 11 contest, Rudolph threw four interceptions as Cleveland won 21-7. Late in the game, he was bashed over the head with his own helmet by Browns lineman Myles Garrett, sparking a brawl. Thirty-three players were fined for their involvement in the melee, but Richardson wasn't one of them.

Against Cincinnati on Sunday, Rudolph tossed another pick and was pulled for Devlin Hodges, who led the Steelers to a comeback win. Afterward, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin was non-committal on a starter for the upcoming matchup with Cleveland.
