Tom Brady popped up on the New England Patriots' injury report with an right elbow injury and participated in Friday's practice on a limited basis.

New England labeled Brady as questionable for its Week 12 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, though a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that he's still expected to play.

The quarterback was not featured on the injury report this week prior to Friday.

Brady hasn't missed a start due to injury since 2008, though the Patriots have designated him as questionable for a handful of games over the last few years due to various ailments.

Fourth-round rookie Jarrett Stidham would start at quarterback against the NFC East-leading Cowboys if Brady is unable to suit up.
