His son may play for the New York Giants, but Alibay Barkley - the father of Saquon Barkley - is a Jets fan through and through.

Saquon told reporters Thursday his dad will be wearing a Joe Namath Jets jersey to Sunday's game between the two New York teams.

"My dad, if you ever met my dad, know my dad, he's been a Jets fan his whole life," Saquon said, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. "So is he going to root for the Jets? Yes, but he's going to root for the Giants and his son at the same time.

"So he gets the best of both worlds watching his team that he grew up rooting for and gets to watch his son live his dream."

Alibay is such a big Jets fan that he even has the team logo tattooed on his forearm. He said last year he would consider adding some Giants-related ink if Saquon wins the Super Bowl.

Sunday's game will be Saquon's first regular-season appearance against the Jets.
