New York Jets head coach Adam Gase remains optimistic that running back Le'Veon Bell will play Sunday against the New York Giants, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.
Gase said Bell, who's dealing with knee and ankle injuries, will be limited at practice Thursday, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post.
Bell suffered the knee injury during the fourth quarter of last week's loss to the Miami Dolphins.
An MRI on Wednesday revealed that the 27-year-old suffered no structural damage to his knee, according to Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News.
Bell had his best game of the season against Miami, racking up 111 total yards on 25 touches.
