Green Bay Packers wideout Davante Adams has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys with a toe injury.
Adams picked up the injury late in last Thursday night's Week 4 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and was unable to return to the field as the Packers drove for a potential game-winning score. He's been unable to practice leading up to Week 5 despite the extra time off.
Green Bay's No. 1 receiver has yet to score this season, though he leads the team with 25 receptions and 378 yards. Sophomore Marquez Valdes-Scantling and four-year vet Geronimo Allison will be asked to take up the slack in a matchup of 3-1 teams on Sunday.
