Chad Johnson leaves $276 tip as nod to 'horrible' Patriots stint

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson appears to have a good sense of humor about his underwhelming stint with the New England Patriots.

Johnson tweeted a photo Friday showing a $276 tip he left on a $91.36 restaurant bill.

"I only had 276 yards with the Patriots which was really horrible," he wrote on the bill.

Johnson had 15 receptions for 276 yards with one touchdown in 15 games for the Patriots in 2011, his final season in the NFL.

He left a $260 tip at another restaurant in July as a reminder that he "once had 260 yards against the Chargers."
