The Philadelphia Eagles intend to find a solution to Nick Foles narrowly missing out on a $1-million incentive after suffering an injury late in the regular-season finale, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The quarterback was forced to leave the game in the fourth quarter against the Washington Redskins due to bruised ribs. He, therefore, fell four snaps short of his incentive mark of playing 33 percent of the Eagles' offensive plays for the campaign.

Philadelphia snuck into the playoffs after Foles led it to three straight wins to end the regular season after Carson Wentz was lost for the year, giving the reigning champions a chance at repeating.

Foles is set to start against the Chicago Bears in Sunday's wild-card round.
