The Cleveland Browns are expected to interview former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy on Thursday, a source told ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

He is also reportedly scheduled to interview with the New York Jets.

McCarthy helped the Packers win a Super Bowl in 2010 and posted a cumulative 125-77-2 record before being fired on Dec. 2.

Cleveland is considered by some as the most attractive destination on the market in part due to the emergence of edge rusher Myles Garrett and quarterback Baker Mayfield.

The Browns also completed an interview with interim head coach Gregg Williams for the opening on Tuesday. Williams previously served as the team's defensive coordinator but was promoted after Hue Jackson was fired on Oct. 29.
