Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone shouldn't go to cornerback Jalen Ramsey if he's looking for an endorsement as rumors swirl about his job status.

"I ain't worried about nobody but myself," Ramsey said when asked about Marrone's security, according to Phillip Heilman of the Florida Times-Union.

The Jaguars dropped to 4-10 on Sunday in front of their home fans, going down 16-13 at the hands of the shorthanded Washington Redskins. The loss was Jacksonville's ninth in its last 10 games.

Marrone told reporters he hasn't received any hint from management about whether he'll be retained in 2019 for a third season or if he'll be sent packing a year after leading the Jags to the AFC title game.

"I'm just going to keep coaching as hard as I can," he said, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. "I don't make that decision."

Ramsey, whose outspokenness has created numerous headlines this season, later clarified his remark:

The 24-year-old has three interceptions in 14 contests this year. He was an All-Pro last season.
