Report: Eric Berry expected to make season debut vs. Chargers
Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry is expected to make his first appearance of the season during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers after being sidelined with a heel injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Berry last played in Week 1 of the 2017 season, when he ruptured his Achilles. He's missed 29 games since then, including the postseason.
The Chiefs teased Berry's return in a hype video Wednesday.

The three-time All-Pro was reportedly dealing with a Haglund's deformity in his Achilles, which causes a bone spur to dig into the tendon.
Berry's return should be a major boost to the Super Bowl hopeful Chiefs, who own the league's worst pass defense and are allowing 282 yards through the air per game.
