Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris suffered a fractured fibula Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, a source told Mike Klis of 9News.

Harris will likely be placed on injured reserve, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The three-time Pro Bowler was carried off the field on a cart.

Harris is Denver's top defensive back and losing him for the rest of the season would be a major blow to the team's remaining hopes of making a shock playoff push.
