Brees tops Pro Bowl voting after 1st update

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was the leading vote-getter for the 2019 Pro Bowl as of Nov. 20, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Brees, who's steered the Saints to a 9-1 record, amassed 487,400 votes. Kansas City Chiefs pivot Patrick Mahomes and Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley were the only other players to receive over 400,000 votes.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt garnered the most votes among defensive players, followed by Rams defensive tackle and reigning Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald.
