Still in the market for receiver help, it's believed the New Orleans Saints will attempt to sign free agent Brandon Marshall, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing league sources.

The Saints inked Dez Bryant to a one-year contract earlier in the week, but he went down with a torn Achilles in his second practice.

New Orleans had also brought Marshall in for a workout and are expected to pivot to signing the 13-year veteran.

The 34-year-old spent the first eight weeks of the season with the Seattle Seahawks, hauling in 11 passes for 136 yards and one touchdown, but was released on Oct. 30.

Should he sign, the Saints would be the seventh franchise Marshall has played for in his well-traveled career.
