Free-agent pass-rusher Junior Galette revealed on Thursday that he rejected contracts from the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins during the offseason.

The 30-year-old, who spent 2017 with the Redskins, said he regrets turning down the Raiders' offer and wants to play in the NFL again. Galette said in May that he was mulling retirement, though it's possible he was just trying to get a more lucrative deal.

Galette played for the New Orleans Saints from 2010 to 2014, reaching the double-digit sack plateau twice. He missed the 2015 and 2016 campaigns due to injury before returning to post three sacks last season in Washington.
