Owens says Cowboys fans should petition to bring him back

Terrell Owens is still eyeing a return to football.
After Dallas Cowboys fans launched a petition urging the team to bring back retired quarterback Tony Romo, Owens tweeted that they should start one for him, too.

The 44-year-old, who has yet to officially retire from the NFL, played three seasons for the Cowboys, catching 235 passes for 3,587 yards and 38 touchdowns in 47 games.
He worked out for the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders in August, one day after he was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
