Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is expected to sit out Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a hamstring injury, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Cook has battled an ailing hamstring for weeks, but suited up last Thursday against the Los Angeles Rams.

The second-year tailback has 98 yards on 36 carries across three contests this year. He rushed for 354 yards with two touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry as a rookie before tearing his ACL.

The Vikings own a 1-2-1 record heading into Philadelphia, where they'll square off against the Eagles in a rematch of last year's NFC championship game.
