Chiefs' Watkins suffers hamstring injury on MNF

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins has been ruled out of Monday Night Football versus the Denver Broncos after suffering a hamstring injury in the first half.

Watkins failed to dent the stat sheet before exiting the contest. He entered Week 4 with 14 receptions for 176 yards and one touchdown.

Watkins has battled a variety of injuries throughout his five-year career. The 25-year-old inked a three-year, $48-million contract with Kansas City as a free agent in March.
