Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah left Monday's game against the New York Jets in the second quarter with a shoulder injury.
Ansah was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
The former first-round pick is coming off a 12-sack campaign for Detroit. He's playing under the franchise tag in 2018.
Kerry Hyder and Romeo Okwara are likely to see increased snaps at defensive end if Ansah misses time moving forward.
