The Buffalo Bills will host former Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch for a workout on Tuesday, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Lynch cleared waivers after being released by the Broncos on Sunday. The 2016 first-round pick failed to impress during the preseason and was eventually supplanted on the depth chart by Chad Kelly.
Buffalo announced second-year pro Nathan Peterman as its Week 1 starter on Monday. Peterman defeated 2018 first-round pick Josh Allen for the job.
Lynch played sparingly during his first two seasons and would likely be vying for the team's No. 3 spot.
